MobileTec’s InMotion™ GEO products provide an integrated geo data and mapping solution. As with all MobileTec products, InMotion™ GEO was designed with direct hands-on application and input from all levels of application/system users to address the varied requirements of map data generation and presentation to support and enhance departmental operations.

The InMotion™ GEO products  can be used to satisfy a variety of requirements. The InMotion™ GEO Integrated Geo Builder module provides the ability to define and maintain critical geographical references (locations, street segments, dispatch zones, etc.) with links to external information (hazards, history, special instructions, etc.), incorporating everything into a geographical display/map presentation. Geo Builder will allow an agency to accurately build and maintain it's own full map data and geographical environment. This data can then be utilized by all InMotion products in text form for such activities as address validation during data entry plus in graphical form by the GEO display products. Of course, if map data is readily available within your agency then this can be utilized, eliminating the need for GEO Builder.  Please note however, the generation of complete and useful text based GEO data for use in CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) etc. is often not properly considered.  Very few existing agency mapping applications provide GPS accurate data and fewer are capable of providing address's/block ranges with corresponding cross street information and therefore intersection lists.

The GEO display products include the InMotion™ GEO In-Vehicle Map Display, the InMotion™ GEO Host Dispatch Display plus the InMotion™ GEO Crime Tracker. The former combine graphical map display features with AVL/GPS capability in order to track and display in real time GPS equipped vehicle movements plus live CAD events. GEO Crime Tracker is an extended analysis tool capable of graphically plotting historical data including CAD events, RMS incidents/reports, even historical vehicle locations/movements.
